April Marie Norwood Collins Lynthlin

Mrs. April Marie Norwood Collins Lynthlin, 29, her infant daughter Cara Marie Woods, of Dalton, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 5, 2009, at the local hospital.

April was born April 8, 1980, in Whitfield County, Georgia. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Gladys Cantrell and James Norwood. She is survived her parents, Jimmy and Cheryl Norwood of Dalton, Ga.; daughter, Shanda Michelle Collins; son, John Rylee Lynthlin of Dalton; husband, Joshua Glenn Lynthlin of Fort Stewart, Ga.; grandmother, Zora Norwood of Chatsworth, Ga.; aunts and uncles, Jerry Wayne and Robin Norwood of Chatsworth, Joyce Whitaker of Marietta, Ga., Sue Brooker of Dalton, Diane Wilensky of Virginia; special friends, Tiffany Beavers and Lisa Langley.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. April Lynthlin will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bret Yeager and Rev. Gerald Foster officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 9 p.m. Thursday.
