Area Arrests

• Devon Renee Cookson, 20, 220 Tanglewood Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.

• Jeremy Lamar Holcomb, 33, 4483 Red Bud Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with a guard line violation, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (unidentified pills), loud music and failure to appear.

• James Leonard Phillips, 46, 1301 Dycus Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with expired tag, driving while license withdrawn, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, guard line violation and probation violation (four counts).

• Enrique Ramirez-Loarca, 21, Dalton, was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and is on hold for deportation.

• Joshua David Cole, 19, 162 Wright Circle, Tunnel Hill, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with entering a vehicle with intent of felony, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, criminal trespass and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

• Efrain Izaguirre Jr., 19, 1754 N. Boyd Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with entering a vehicle with intent of felony, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, criminal trespass and party to a crime.

• Isaias Isaac Martinez, 20, 912 Townsend Lane, Tunnel Hill, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with entering a vehicle with intent of felony and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
