Daniel H. Lunsford Sr.

Mr. Daniel H. Lunsford Sr., 61 of Chatsworth, passed away Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in Chattanooga. 

He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, Eton Mason Lodge No. 509 F&AM; as well as Scottish Rite and York Rite; NRA and AARL.                                                   

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, the Rev. Clinton and Irene Lunsford; wife, Linda A. Lunsford.

Survivors include his son, Daniel H. Lunsford Jr. of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Leigh Rowland of Dalton, Sarah and Jon Turpening of Chatsworth, and Luann Philyaw of Dalton; sister,  Linda G. Lunsford of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Todd and Brandy Lunsford, Haydn and Bethany Lunsford, Tyler and Karlie Rowland, Korbin and Logan Turpening, Taylor and Tanner Philyaw; great-grandchildren, Willow and Winston Lunsford and Bentley Philyaw; aunt and cousins.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Lamar Beason officiating.  Burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery with graveside rites provided by the Eton Mesonic Lodge 509 F&AM.

Fellow employees of Beaulieu and Masonic Lodge members will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from noon to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until the funeral hour.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Daniel H. Lunsford.
