John H. Kenemer

John H. Kenemer, 82, of Rocky Face, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Mr. Kenemer was preceded in death by his parents, Needham and Ruth Kenemer; brothers, Vernon, Dennis, D.L. and Leroy Kenemer; sisters, Laura Mailey, Willie Babb, and Faye Hall.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Marie Davenport Kenemer of the residence; sisters, Montyne Hall and Vivian Newton both of Mill Creek, and Betty Greeson of Dalton; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Westside Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Victor Vance officiating.

Burial will be in Dunagan Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Kenemer, Mike Kenemer, Pat Kenemer, Al Jones, Jimmy Davenport and Jeff Davenport.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 until 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family request that contributions be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
