Albert Holt Gross Sr.

Albert Holt Gross Sr., 87, of Dalton and formerly of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and was a Mason.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Brady Gross of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Steve Roberts of Tallahassee, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Albert Holt Jr. and Karen J. Gross of Dalton; sister, Velma Holiday of Grassflat, Penn.; sister-in-law and husband, Gert and Bill Kline of St. Petersburg; grandchildren, Albert Holt Gross III, Kevin Brady Roberts, Jennifer Louise Burger and Haley Jean Roberts; several nieces and nephews.

Services are today at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Camp officiating.

Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 11 a.m. until funeral time at 3 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Hamilton Day Health Services, 1428 Ross Drive, Dalton, GA, 30720.

Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove Chapel, Dalton is in charge of arrangements.
