Dorothy Aaron

Mrs. Dorothy Aaron, 71, of Aaron Road in Ellijay, died Sunday, June 25, 2006.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Mitchell Bowen of Ellijay; son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Mary Aaron of Ellijay; sisters, Eunice Chapman of Dalton and Nena Sanford of Chatsworth; brother, Eugene Craig of Chatsworth; grandchildren and spouse, Darien and Adrienne Bowen, Stephen, Joshua and Sarah Aaron, all of Ellijay; two great-grandchildren, Bryce and Booklyn Bowen, both of Ellijay; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services are Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Emmett Burgess, the Rev. Calvin Grogan, the Rev. Monroe Gunter and the Rev. Eddie Craig officiating.

Burial will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family began receiving friends at the funeral home Monday.

Bernhardt Funeral Home of Ellijay is in charge of arrangements.
