Miss Brandi Leigh Lanning, 26, of North Hamilton Street in Dalton, departed this life Wednesday night, Nov. 22, 2006, in Cleveland, Tenn., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Brandi was born March 8, 1980, in Whitfield County, the only daughter of Ronnie and Deborah Rogers Lanning of Dalton. She had attended Dalton High School and Central Church of Christ in Dalton. Brandi was preceded in death by her grandfather, Frances W. ‘Bill’ Lanning.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her brothers and sister-in-law, Andrew and Tracy Lanning of Chatsworth and Jody Lanning of Dalton; her grandmother, Margaret Lanning of Dalton; her only nephew, Eli Austin Manning; special cousins, Crystal Marcus and Jennifer Morgan; many other cousins, aunts, uncles and friends also survive.

Services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Kennett officiating.

Brandi will be laid to rest following the service at Colonial Parks Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5 to 9 p.m.
