William Hubert Ball, 83, of Cape Carteret, N.C., died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at Britthaven of North Chase in Wilmington, N.C.

He is survived locally by brothers, Floyd Ball, Mackson Ball, Ray Ball and Charles Ball.

Andrews Funeral Home of Wilmington was in charge of arrangements.
