Kathleen Babb Cochran

Mrs. Kathleen Babb Cochran, of Dalton, departed this life Saturday afternoon, Dec. 1, 2007, at the Regency Park Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Cochran was born Aug. 25, 1921, in Whitfield County, a daughter of the late George H. and Lucy Fletcher Babb. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Bradley.

She was a member of Dug Gap Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lloyd S. Cochran of the home; daughter, Linda Ingle; son, Charles Mains; granddaughter, Kelley Ingle Dowiat; great-granddaughters, Jade Dowiat and Kirby Dowiat; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Billie Babb; sisters and brother-in-law, Minna Babb Jennings, Anne B. and Harvey Casper all of Dalton; several very special nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Kathleen Babb Cochran will be today at 11 a.m. from the Dug Gap Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Bagley officiating. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Craig Babb, Kent Babb, Danny Jennings, Mike Roberts Babb, Danny Mitchell, Larry Ingle and Stan Dowiat.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Monday.
