Career Acdemy accepting applications

DALTON — The Whitfield County Career Academy is accepting applications for the 2008-2009 school year. The deadline for applications is Monday, Jan. 28.

Interested high school students can apply by picking up an application in their school’s counseling office or at the Career Academy, located at 2300 Maddox Chapel Road in Dalton.

Current career areas include health occupations, cosmetology, public safety, early childhood education, education and teaching, culinary arts, transportation logistical operations and support, drafting, construction, graphic communications, metals, HVACR, small business development, information technology, adventure based travel and tourism, financial management, engineering, manufacturing, digital media, and electronics.
