UPDATE: Henderson to resign as Varnell police chief

Tim Henderson said Friday night that he has agreed to resign as Varnell police chief as of noon Saturday. Henderson was charged Thursday with violation of his oath of office, misdemeanor theft by taking and felony theft by taking.
