Mrs. Mary Sue “Sally” Kinsey, 72, of Summerville died Wednesday morning, Feb. 20, 2008, at her residence.
A native Chattooga Countian, Mrs. Kinsey was born to the late James Perry and Ola Floyd Anderson on Dec. 3, 1935. She was a member of Perennial Springs Baptist Church and was retired head cashier at the former Summerville Bi-Lo Supermarket.
Two sisters, Jessie Powell and Shirley Woodall and two brothers, Charles Anderson and Bud Anderson died earlier.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Kinsey; a daughter and spouse, Donna and Kip Allen of Dalton; sons and spouses, Greg and Rose Espy of Summerville, Jimmy Espy and Alison Gerber of Dalton, Tommy and Rhonda Espy of Summerville; sisters, Emma Lou Pullen of Summerville and Myrel White of Cleveland, Tenn.; brothers and spouses, Carl and Lois Anderson, “Fuzz” and Brenda Anderson, Rick and Sandra Copeland, all of Summerville; stepsons and spouses, Gordon Lee and Davonna Kinsey and Kenneth Lee and Mindy Kinsey Jr., all of Summerville; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services are today at 2 p.m. from J.D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with the Rev. Alton Stamey officiating.
Burial will be in Greenhills Memory Garden.
Active pallbearers will be T.C. Pledger, Jim Tingle, Raymond Ware, Bobby Chisolm, James Archer and Jeff Stallings. Honorary pallbearers will be the Adult Sunday School Class of Perennial Springs Baptist Church.
Visitation was Thursday at the funeral home.
Earle Rainwater Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
