Former North Dalton residents plan reunion

Did you attend North Dalton School or Fort Hill School? If so, you won’t want to miss the fourth annual North Dalton reunion planned for Saturday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.

“We’ll meet, reminisce and renew acquaintances,” said Ray Broadrick, a member of the Friends of North Dalton organizing committee. Light refreshments will be served.

“The reunion is for every former resident of North Dalton,” said Broadrick. “If you attended North Dalton or Fort Hill schools, the First Church of the Nazarene, Hamilton Street United Methodist Church or Mount Rachel Baptist, or worked at Crown Cotton Mills or Duane Chair Co., then we’ll be expecting you.”

The reunion will be in Trinity’s Family Life Center, 901 Veterans Drive. There is no charge to attend, but a donation of a non-perishable food item for the church’s food panty would be appreciated.
