James Walter ‘Jim’ Cochran

Mr. James Walter “Jim” Cochran, 74, of Dalton, passed away Friday, June 20, 2008, at his residence.

He was the son of the late Walter H. and Mabel Dunn Cochran and was preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd Cochran and Harold Cochran.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Peggy Roberts Cochran of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Brian Cochran of Atlanta, Greg and Collette Cochran of Dalton; daughters and son-in-law, Amy Roberts of Dalton, Amanda and Scott Brant of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dunn C. and Kathryn Cochran of Sarasota, Fla., Leonard Cochran of Dalton, Jack and Diane Cochran of Dalton; sisters, Marie Dann, Wallice Swanson both of Chatsworth and Joann Cochran of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Megan Brant, Evan Brant, Sydney Roberts, Lindsey Roberts, Cole Roberts, Michael Cochran and Christian Cochran; nieces and nephews.

Services are today at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Dunn C. Cochran, the Rev. Eric Lee and the Rev. James Gwin officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home today from 2 p.m. till the funeral hour at 4.
