Camping out

Parents begin camping in front of the Whitfield County Health Department on Tuesday afternoon for Dalton Public Schools’ kindergarten registration, which begins this morning at 8 at the health department. The women, who refused to give their names, said they wanted to be first in line to register their children to attend school out of district. Kindergarten registration will last until 4:30 p.m. today and will be from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
