Dennis Banks

Mr. Dennis Banks, 88, of Banks Road in Ellijay, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009.

Survivors include sons, Arnold Lee Banks of Ellijay, John Banks of Dalton, D.L. Banks of Ellijay; daughters, Virginia Wyatt of Chatsworth and Margaret Weathers of Dalton; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Services are Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Banks, the Rev. Billy Dotson, the Rev. Johnny Weathers and the Rev. Adam Banks officiating.

Burial will be in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family received friends at the funeral home Thursday.
