There were no life-threatening injuries in this two-car collision on Highway 2 in front of Beaverdale Elementary School Wednesday morning, said Sgt. Rick Wheeler with the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office. Tamela Angel, 44, of Crandall, was driving the 2006 Honda Pilot that was hit by a 1994 Chevrolet Astro van driven by Brenda White, 55, of Dalton. The wreck happened at about 7:30. Angel was cited for failure to yield right of way.
