Jessie L. Jackson

Mrs. Jessie L. Jackson, 76, of Chatsworth, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at the residence.

She was a member of the Dewberry Baptist Church.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Ina Franklin Sr. ; a son, Gregory Allen Jackson.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Ralph E. Jackson of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Mike Dunn of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Brandon Jackson of Chatsworth, Darren Vandegriff of Cartersville; great-granddaughter, Madilyn Vandegriff of Cartersville; sisters, Ann Lou Franklin and Jannie Giddens, all of Fort Myers, Fla.; brothers, Ivan Franklin Jr. and Jerry Franklin, all of Chatsworth; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Payne and the Rev. Timmy Steelman officiating.

Burial will be in Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5-9 p.m.

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Jessie L. Jackson.
