Doris Satterfield Middlebrooks

Doris Satterfield Middlebrooks, 82, of Chatsworth, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Middlebrooks; parents, Claude and Mary Sue Satterfield; two brothers, Cecil and Paul B. Satterfield.

She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Doyle Crider of Tunnel Hill; three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Diann Middlebrooks of Rocky Face, Ron and Delilah Middlebrooks of Chatsworth and Lamar and Rena Middlebrooks of Tunnel Hill; a sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and E. P. Davis of Dalton; three brothers and sisters-in-law, W. L. and Betty Satterfield, John A. and Dot Satterfield and Robert and June Satterfield, all of Dalton; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The funeral to honor the life of Mrs. Middlebrooks will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Hasty officiating. Burial will be in the Welcome Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
