Reward offered for info on missing man

The family of a man missing since April 22 is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to finding him, the Dalton Police Department said on Friday.

Ricky Long, 47, was last seen in the area of Autumn Ridge Apartments on foot and has not been seen since. Acquaintances say Long was depressed due to recent health problems, and was threatening to commit suicide in the days leading up to his disappearance.

He is approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 155 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing tan jeans, a black nylon jacket, tennis shoes and a red and black Dale Earnhardt No. 3 baseball cap. Searchers using a cadaver dog are needed.
