Mr. Joshua C. Williams, 26, of Alma and formerly from Dalton, departed this life Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, in Alma, from injuries sustained in an automobile-pedestrian accident.
Joshua was born June 17, 1984, in Dalton. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lawrence Andy Williams and Carl Allen Driggins.
He is survived by his wife, Jayme Dawn Lattin-Williams of the residence; sons, Dakota C. Williams, Cohutta, Tanner Joshua Williams, Chatsworth, Carl David Williams-Headrick; daughter, Gracie William, Alma; father and mother, Carl C. and Ann Williams, Cohutta; sisters, Kristi Williams, Cohutta, Priscilla Cox, Dalton, Rosie Williams, Cohutta and Mary Kinsey, Cleveland, Tenn.; grandmothers, Norma Williams of Chatsworth and Clara Ruth Driggins of Cohutta; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Joshua C. Williams are Friday at 2 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Robin Medders officiating.
He will be laid to rest at Mount Hermon Cemetery in Murray County. Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Everette, Carl Williams, Edward Lattin, Joshua Hunter, David Pack and Joey Pack.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 9 p.m. Thursday.
