Dalton Middle to present Christmas production

Dalton Middle School’s drama students will present their first Christmas production on Monday, Dec. 6, and Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. each evening.

The location for both performances is the multipurpose room at the school, which is off the North Bypass at 1250 Cross Plains Trail.

Directed by Mark Helton, this year’s production is a one act, “Last Stop Till Christmas,” and four scenes from “Stocking Stuffers.”

“Last Stop” features a group of characters waiting at a bus stop during the Christmas rush. The true meaning of Christmas is revealed.

“Stocking Stuffers” is a series of scenes: the water cooler; the ladies speak; up front; and the break-up.

This Christmas event is geared toward the whole family.

Starring in this year’s production are Hope Choi, Byce Southerland, Austin Burnette, Brynn Harris, Grace Patterson, Kate Phinney, Meghan McCurry, Molly Poplin, Ian Lazo, Lydia Fortuna, Ed Tchoua, Salma Soliman, Patrick Hayes, David Torres, Sarah Cordero, Vanessa Hernandez, Stephanie Ortiz and Maci Hayes.

Tickets may be purchased at DMS during school hours, 7:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m., or may be reserved by calling the school at (706) 278-3903. All reserved tickets must be picked up by 6:30 p.m. on play evenings. Tickets are $5.
