Myrtis Lybrand Deloache

Mrs. Myrtis Lybrand Deloache, 92, of North Augusta, S.C., wife of the late Heber Deloache, entered into rest Tuesday, March 29, 2011.
Born in Johnston, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Ed Lee Lybrand and the late Fannie Derrick Lybrand. She retired from Murray Biscuit Co. after 20 years of service and was of the Lutheran faith. Mrs. Deloache had been a resident of North Augusta most of her life. As her health began to decline, she moved to Lexington, S.C., to be closer to her son Eddie and later moved to Calhoun to be closer to her son James, where she resided until her death. A very simple person, Mrs. Deloache read her Bible daily and enjoyed cooking and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, James H. “Jim” Deloache (Diane) of Calhoun and Eddie L. Deloache and Cathy, Lexington, S.C.; a brother, Rufus Lybrand of Johnston, S.C.; grandchildren, Amy Dimeler, Stacy Foster, Katie Corley and David Deloache; great-grandchildren, Erin Dimeler, Hannah Dimeler, Gracin Foster, Scott Corley and Jacob Corley; siblings, Charles Lybrand and Maude Rawl, also preceded her in death.
Services are Saturday at noon at the graveside in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C., with Pastor John Wertz officiating.
The family has asked that memorials be made to Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1186 Mount Calvary Road, Johnston, SC 29832.
