Area arrests

• William Everette Faulkner, 35, 3409 Discovery Lane, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Varnell Police Department with DUI-drugs and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Bobby Joe Ketchem, 60, 717 Timberlake Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony impersonating a public officer or employee.

• Brandon Neal Lancaster, 20, 430 Underwood St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession and use of drug-related objects, entering auto with intent to commit a theft or felony, probation violation and criminal attempt to commit a felony.

• Adrian Ernest Newton, 45, 470 Red Road, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with carrying a deadly weapon to or at a public gathering, terroristic threats and acts, public drunkenness and aggravated assault.

• Chas Allen Reid, 26, 1121 Underwood St., Apt. J-4, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Calvin Deondre Toliver, 21, 911 Vernon Ave., No. 8, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of or intent to sell marijuana and possession of marijuana.

• George Neil Hicks, 35, 2166 Highway 225 N., Lot D, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by taking.

• James Michael Shoemaker, 41, 330 Silvers Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation (contraband across guard lines).

• Enrique Trevino Jr., 37, 102 Abilene Trail, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Varnell Police Department with DUI, failure to dim headlights and open container violation.
