Bernice Sharpe Parker

 Bernice Sharpe Parker, 89, of Dalton, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She attended Deep Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Dr. T. Dale Kidd of Dalton; two sons and daughters-n-law, Leonard and Gloria Lefferts of Blackstone, Va., and Terry and Lana Lefferts of Richmond, Va.; sisters, Sarah Anthony of Richmond, Va., and Thelma Hogwood of Chester, Va.; brother, Paul Sharpe of Louisa, Va.; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at 6 p.m. at Deep Springs Baptist Church with Dr. T. Dale Kidd officiating.

Burial will be Wednesday at Dale Memorial Park in Chesterfield, Va.
