Star Cashon Vining

Mrs. Star Cashon Vining, 88, of the Dawnville community, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at the home of her daughter, Chris Cole.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. ‘JR’ Vining Jr. in 2000.

Star is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Chris and Lawrence Cole of Dalton, and Robin and Don Thompson of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles F. Vining III of Dalton, and Milton and Carolyn Roberts of Rocky Face; sisters, Hula Henton of Dalton and Mary Boyd of Gainesville; grandchildren, Cali Cole, Caz Cole, Jeff Cole, Josh Cole, Jason Phillips, Kyle Phillips Hughes, Derek Roberts and Misha Roberts; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews also survive.

Private graveside services were held and burial followed in the Dawn Rest Cemetery.

The family asks that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to one’s favorite charity.
