Area arrests

• Gloria Jean Williams, 45, 1011 Trammell St., No. 1, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault and public drunkenness.

• Jacob Scott Rankin, 25, 930 Morgan Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and a driver’s license class violation.

• Apolinario Vicente-Vicente, 25, 3609 Sixth Ave., Chattanooga, was charged Sunday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with DUI, open container of alcohol, driving without a valid license and failure to maintain lane.
