Yeteva Evans

Mrs. Yeteva Evans, 76, of Dalton passed away on May 19, 2015, at Hamilton Medical Center.

She was the baby of 13 children.

She is preceded in death by husband, Donald Wesley Carpenter; son, Bruce Roy Carpenter; and parents, Graden and Alice Thompson Evans.

Mrs. Evans is survived by daughters, Janet Gail Carpenter and Stacey Renee Carpenter, both of Dalton, Tammey Rae Hammons of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Brittney LaShae Carpenter of Chatsworth, and great-granddaughter, Aria LaShae Faulkner of Chatsworth.

The service for Mrs. Yeteva Evans is Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home. Interment will be in Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery in Pickens County.  

The family will receive friends on Friday beginning at 5 p.m.
