Dorothy Muldrew O’Neal

Mrs. Dorothy Muldrew O’Neal, 87, of Dalton passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at Gordon Health and Rehab in Calhoun.

She was the daughter of the late George William Muldrew and Eunice Meachum Muldrew and was preceded in death by her husband, Ennis Fleetwood O’Neal, and brother, George William Muldrew.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline O’Neal of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, W. Ennis and Margaret O’Neal of Marietta; grandchildren, Wesley Neal Hackney of Cartersville and William Ennis O’Neal Jr. of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Virginia Ann Hackney and Mary Elizabeth Hackney, both of Cartersville; sister-in-law, Carol Freeman of LaGrange; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Private graveside services will be in West Hill Cemetery with Pastor Stan Lester officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to City of Refuge, 2015 Sheffield Way, Dalton, GA 30720.
