Jimmie Lee Cooper

Mr. Jimmie Lee Cooper, 70, of Dalton, departed this life Wednesday afternoon,

Nov. 18, 2015, at his residence. Jimmie was born Sept. 1, 1945, in Dalton, a son of the late Roy and Rossie

Cooper. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, W.L. Cooper, Larry Cooper.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Stacy Pellom of Dalton; daughter, Lynn Bovor of Cohutta; brother and sister-in-law, M.B. and Polly Cooper of Cohutta; special cousin, Tex Gillan; two grandchildren.      

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jimmie Lee Cooper will be today at 11 a.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with the Rev. Jack Cornett and the Rev. Ben Clayton officiating. Interment will follow in United Memorial Gardens. The family received friends at the funeral home on Friday.
