Recent arrests from Whitfield and Murray counties.

• Julia Diane Ausmus, 41, 4226 Dogwood Valley Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• Ronald Jay Blevins, 29, 60 Centerhill Cemetery Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and destroy/remove deals with property security interest.

• Janet Lee Cooper, 30, 286 Sagamore Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault (other weapon).

• Adam Daniel Cross, 29, 2460 Kittle Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and by the Georgia State Patrol with two counts of DUI, taillights violation and driving without a license.

• Kyle Gardner, 23, 8381 Ureka Road, Charleston, Tenn., was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• Gary Lee Gunter, 47, 1719 Whitehouse Court, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation and theft by shoplifting.

• Brandon Lee Posey, 28, 200 Cleveland St., Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with battery (family violence) and cruelty to children (deprivation of necessary sustenance).

• Brandie Lee Widener, 39, 154 Locomotive Way, Tunnel Hill, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear and two counts of burglary in the first degree (forced entry).

• Ronald Shenard Womble, 38, 7100 Houston Valley Road-34, Tunnel Hill, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of marijuana.

• Aze Calvin Davis Jr., 44, 825 Heritage Circle, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with simple battery (family violence) and by the Dalton Police Department with possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Houston Gage Earley, 17, 100 Red Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and transactions in drug-related objects.

• Shammarie Elliott, 28, 432 Fourth Ave.-2, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department as a fugitive from justice (Hamilton County, Tenn., contraband in penal institutions and failure to appear).

• Andrew Shayne McNabb, 17, 88 Coulter Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
