• Naim Sanchez Arroyo, 42, 1007 Francis St., Dalton, was placed on hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• James Michael Bowling, 23, 102 Rustic View Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.
• Marlon Bradford Burk, 31, 299 Old CCC Camp Road, Eton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with felony probation violation and willful obstruction of law officers.
• Gregory Scott Compton, 41, 1801 Crabapple Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and probation violation.
• Bonita Marie Evans, 34, 5561 Red Clay Road, Cohutta, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of a schedule 3, 4 or 5 drug.
• Maria Eugenia Gallegos-Romero, 44, 486 Maddox Mill Road, Dalton, was placed on hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.
• Gregory Keith Harmon, 60, 109 Pleasant Hill Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault and cruelty to children (allowing to witness felony, battery or family violence).

• Matthew Delano Ormond, 22, 5396 Highway 55 W., Cove City, N.C., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by receiving motor vehicle stolen in another state, DUI (drugs), public drunkenness, driving with a suspended or revoked license and fugitive from justice.
• Rodney Delano Ormond Jr., 29, 1143 Ten Mile Fork Road, Trenton, N.C., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a schedule 2 drug, theft by receiving motor vehicle stolen in another state and fugitive from justice.
• Santos Perez, 29, 161 Cherokee St., Canton, was placed on hold Wednesday at the Whitfield County jail for ICE.
• Chelsey Brooke Quarles, 17, 6050 W. Armuchee Road, Villanow, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
• Amy Renee Rogers, 24, 117 Favorite Way, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and following too closely.
• Montana Noel Rouse, 23, 2070 Francks Field Road, Trenton, N.C., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by receiving motor vehicle stolen in another state and fugitive from justice.
• Dustin Emory Tyler, 21, 71 Sugar Creek Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.
• Gary Michael Kanalos, 63, 89 Pleasant Valley Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, two counts of possession of drug-related objects, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a schedule 1 or schedule 2 controlled substance with intent to distribute.
• Charles Raymond Kelley, 57, 436 Scarlett Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, an open container violation and failure to maintain lane.
