Area Arrests

• Richard Allan Barker, 46, 1118 Hill St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession of meth with the intent to distribute and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Christopher Bryan Cole, 24, 5408 Antioch Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with hit and run, failure to report an accident with injury and driving while license is suspended or revoked.

• Randy William Corn, 26, 302 Janice Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear, driving while license is suspended or revoked and obstruction of an officer.

• Michael Leon Patton, 43, 250 Hufstetler Road, Resaca, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of felony probation violation and giving false information to a law officer.

• Lorenzo Tolbert Jr., 37, 900 Vernon Ave.-11, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a schedule 2 drug and possession and use of drug-related objects.
