“After several weeks of negative articles and editorials about how terrible our local school systems are, it was very refreshing to read about Dr. Xiomara Romine. We are so fortunate and blessed to have such a unique and talented individual who is a part of our school system. Also it was good to have Mark Hannah and the ‘Town Crier’ back again.”

“I just wanted to say thank you to Brandy and some of the guys from Dalton Utilities. We were having some drainage problems and within a few minutes of me calling they came out and checked things out. I appreciate it very much.”

“I said when you watch what people are doing in their car while driving, you become distracted, not watching the other cars as the navigate the road.”

“Is there a rule stating that a double yellow line must be crossed or driven on? I seemed to have read the driver’s manual completely the opposite.”

“In our town, a driver’s license means that you had the $20 fee and not that you have the skills or knowledge to operate a motor vehicle on public roads.”

“Dalton Public Schools has hundreds of out of district students and accepts more each year while bemoaning overcrowding. Chairman Fromm spoke at the recent school board meeting about a possible overcrowding solution costing $80 million. Didn’t we taxpayers tell the board two years ago that we cannot afford that? Didn’t the chamber of commerce state opposition because the school system continues to exacerbate the overcrowding problem? Yes, we did and they did.”

“I saw the play ‘The Little Mermaid’ at Dalton High School Friday night. It was fabulous, it was really fabulous. And the costumes were to die for. The person who designed the costumes did such an awesome job. Kudos to Dalton High School.”

“These people that are downing Donald Trump. Are they jealous because he is doing a better job in 100 days than Barack Obama has done in eight years? Get over it.”
