Area Arrests for Oct. 17

• Gregory Roland Baird, 55, 2158 Crandall-Ellijay Road, Crandall, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and open container violation.

• Jeremy Lynn Bishop, 36, 222 Cheyenne Trail N.W., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault (other weapon) and criminal trespass.

• Alan Lee Boerner, 47, 785 N.E. Sixth St., Cleveland, Tenn., was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and possession of tools for commission of crime.

• Felipe De Jesus Huerta Jr., 23, 1456 Raider Drive S.E., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with robbery, aggravated assault (other weapon) and participation in criminal gang activity prohibited.

• Patrick Sandy Markulec, 64, 1507 N. Tibbs Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Alicia Beth Sharp, 53, 3240 Old Evergreen Way, Alpharetta, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth, possession and use of drug-related objects and giving false information to a law officer.

• William David Smith, 45, 360 Richardson Road N.E., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated stalking.
