Mayor Hobbs suspended from office

ATLANTA — Gov. Brian Kemp has signed an executive order suspending Thomasville Mayor Greg Hobbs from office.

Gov. Kemp signed the order Tuesday following a review commission’s report that charges included in an indictment of the mayor “do relate to and adversely affect the administration of the office of Mayor of the City of Thomasville”. The commission members also unanimously recommended that Hobbs be suspended from office.
