Today’s Forum for Aug. 21

Since the issuance of new instructions several months or more on how to submit articles to he Forum, I haven’t seen a single item submitted! What gives?

Editor’s Note: The Dalton Daily Citizen encourages readers to continue to submit messages for our “Today’s Forum” feature. New guidelines for the Forum were instituted in April 2024 requiring that commenters include their name with their comment. We still want to provide the Forum as a sounding board for local people to sound off on the issues that are important to them, but we believe that something worth saying is something worth putting your name behind it. All Forum comments must be signed and include a phone number for verification, but your phone number will not be published, just your name. No telephone messages will be accepted. You can email a Forum comment to editorial@daltoncitizen.com, and please indicate that you are sending a forum submission in the subject line. You can mail comments to Dalton Daily Citizen, 308 S. Thornton Ave., Dalton, GA 30720. You can submit your Forum comment online at https://www.dailycitizen.news/site/forms/online_services/forum_submissions/, but please make sure you include your phone number for verification. Or you can simply stop by the office with a typed or hand-written copy of your comment, as long as it includes your name and phone number.
