Kathryn Sellers currently serves on the Dalton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau board, the Whitfield County Historic Preservation Commission, the board of the Dalton-Whitfield County Public Library and the Dalton Resilient Community Committee.

And over the years she has served on numerous other boards and devoted countless hours to promoting her vision of Dalton and Whitfield County as a cleaner, greener, more literate place that honors and preserves its history.

“Ms. Sellers is extremely generous with her time as a volunteer on multiple committees and nonprofit boards,” said Whitfield County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jevin Jensen. “Her goal to preserve and improve Whitfield County is clear for all to see.”

Sellers has served for many years on the board of the Dalton-Whitfield County Public Library, and remains a tireless advocate for more resources for the library.

“I always look forward to seeing her at our Board of Commissioners meetings,” said Jensen. “She always brings her pleasant manner that ensures we know both her concerns and ideas on how to solve it.”
