The Dalton Daily Citizen was advised of exemplary kindness by two local young gentlemen by resident Aimee Bryant, who submitted the above photos and wrote:
“We were at the old recreation department in Chatsworth on Saturday getting ready for my daughter Cami’s fifth birthday party, which just so happened to be a cow/barn-themed party. My son called down from the parking lot and asked me if the horses were there for Cami’s party. I said, ‘Well no, not that I know of. But maybe they can be.’
“So I walked up and looked for the owners. I asked these two completely random young men if they would be willing to bring their horses down for the children to see at the party. They both said yes. Not only did the sweet young men ride their horses down to the shelter, one of the young men let all the kids take turns on the horse. He was very caring and very compassionate. He lifted each child up onto the saddle and led the horse two or three times around the area. We offered to pay them for their time. Both young men refused any type of payment. I just want to say once again how amazing that was. They took time out of their day — time away from what they were planning to do — to make my daughter’s birthday extra special, and that’s something we will never forget. The world definitely needs more people like these two young men. And hats off to their parents as well for raising two fine and outstanding young men.”
