The RAHYE Foundation, established in 2000 by Alice and the late Chang Yim, proudly recognized outstanding associates at Hamilton Long Term Care (HLTC) during special receptions at each of the facilities. The award honors the dedication and excellence of associates chosen by their HLTC peers and leaders for their unwavering commitment to quality care.

The RAHYE Foundation, which stands for Respect and Honor Your Elderly, was established after the passing of Alice Yim’s mother as a tribute to her life and the Yims’ dedication to senior care. Since its inception, the RAHYE Foundation has donated over $500,000 to support both long-term care residents and the compassionate staff who serve them. Initiatives funded by the Foundation have included transportation vans, televisions in activity areas, iPads to maintain family connections during the COVID pandemic, and resident activities such as ice cream socials and holiday gatherings.

Each year, the RAHYE Foundation awards two individuals from each HLTC facility—Quinton, Regency, and Ridgewood—with cash awards for their exceptional service. In addition to acknowledging individual achievements, the Foundation funds activities that enrich resident experiences at HLTC. States Director of Operations for HLTC Matthew Cummings, “The dedication and compassion displayed by our associates are the heart of what makes Hamilton Long Term Care a truly exceptional place for our residents. We are immensely proud of each individual recognized and grateful to the RAHYE Foundation for honoring their commitment to excellence. These awards are not just a testament to their hard work but also a celebration of the positive impact they have on our community every day.”
