Area Arrests

Editor’s note: The following information is compiled from public records taken from reports from local law enforcement agencies.

• Kemarion Calloway, 20, 2412 Ocoee St., Chattanooga, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with simple battery, robbery, felony theft by taking and three counts of unlawful for a person employed/associated with a gang to conduct/participate in criminal activity.

• John Derek Hembree, 47, 3687 Chatsworth Highway, Resaca, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with violation of Georgia’s hands-free law, improper lane change/failure to maintain lane, driving too fast for conditions and DUI (less safe).

• Aaliyah Tynise Featherstone, 30, 7339 British Road, Ooltewah, Tennessee, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with fugitive from justice.

• Emily Elizabeth Patton, 23, 1011 N. Hamilton St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Edgar Ivan Guzman, 32, 161 Stadium Way, Cohutta, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a schedule 2 drug.

• Shawn Gay, 41, 200 Cecil Way, McDonough, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with parole violation, DUI and speeding.

• Austin Chandler Parr, 24, 410 Hester Circle, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation and possession of meth.

• Amber Nicole Seay, 30, 729 W. Tyler St.-15, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, running a red light and improper turn.

• Juanita Perez-Perez, 41, 1802 Briar Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of cocaine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
