The Temples Family of Cartersville will be in concert Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Resaca. The church is at 247 Mount Zion Road. Admission is free; a love offering will be received. The public is welcome.
• Mountain Ridge Baptist Church will celebrate Women’s Day Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The morning speaker will be Krista Wingfield of Mountain Ridge. The afternoon speaker will be Minister Debbie Madden of Liberty Baptist Church in Dalton. There will be a special recognition during the afternoon service for the Woman’s Community Club.
Lunch will be served after the morning service.

• Evangelist and singer-songwriter Gerald Crabb will be in revival Feb. 12-16 at Valley Brook Church of God. Sunday services begin at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., with remaining services beginning at 6 p.m.
Crabb Revival will be in concert Feb. 21 at 10:30 a.m.

• Mallory Ledford, 12, of Georgetown, Tenn. and Timiethea “Songbird” Delaney will perform Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ringgold Depot in downtown Ringgold.
The event is for the Share America Foundation with proceeds benefiting the Pearl and Floyd Franks Scholarship Fund. Randall Franks, who played Officer Randy Goode on TV’s “In the Heat of the Night,” will emcee.

• The Watkins Family will be in concert Sunday at 11 a.m. at Varnell Baptist Church. Admission is free; a love offering will be received.

• Calvary Baptist Church will begin a study on Revelations Sunday at 11 a.m. An accompanying in-depth Bible study will begin at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall and continue several months.
Sermon topics include “The Rapture of the Church,” “The Judgment Seat of Christ,” “The Marriage Supper of the Lamb,” “The Great Tribulation” and “The 1,000-year Millennium.”

• Central Community Church in Chatsworth will host a Super Bowl party and chili cook-off Sunday at 6:30 p.m. The game will be shown via satellite on a 12-foot screen.
Soup and other foods will be provided for those who do not eat chili.

• The Carpet Capital Women’s Network (CCWN) will hold its regular meeting Feb. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Western Sizzlin’ located on Legion Drive in Dalton. The guest speaker will be Joyce Davis. Davis attends Mount Vernon United Methodist Church where she is active in many ministries.
CCWN is a marketplace ministry to equip, encourage and energize Christian women in the Dalton area.

• New Haven United Methodist Church has named Pastor Tim Lee its new pastor. He will preach his first sermon Sunday at 11 a.m. with lunch served afterwards.
Lee has a master’s degree in divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta.

Youth fundraiser — The youth are taking orders for live roses through Feb. 10. Prices are one rosebud, $7; three rosebuds, $15; six rosebuds, $30; and dozen rosebuds, $50. Price includes vase. Flowers will be available for pickup Feb. 12-13 at the church. Proceeds go towards summer camps and other activities.

Food pantry — Opens Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon and will open the third Saturday of each month thereafter.
