Marie Clayton Westmoreland

Mrs. Westmoreland was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Chatsworth. In 1955, Marie moved to Atlanta, where she worked for several years at Rich’s Department Store. In 1969 she returned to Chatsworth, opening Jo & Jens Clothing Store, which she managed until her retirement in 1985.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert and Mollie Clayton; sisters, Dura Moore, Gladys Dudley, and Bernita Harris; brothers, Wilburn and Jack Clayton, all of Cisco; her husband, Paul C. Dover.
Mrs. Westmoreland is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Bobena Hewell of Monroe, Paulette and Bob Lilly of Lilburn, and Virginia and James H. Adams of Chatsworth; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of First Baptist Church of Chatsworth with the Rev. Doug Meyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5p.m. to 8 p.m.
