James ‘Jim’ Plemons

Mr. James “Jim” Plemons, 57 of Dalton, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012, at Hamilton Medical Center.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Delmer W. Plemons; sisters, Carolyn Criswell and Kaye Ann Plemons; a brother, Delmer W. Plemons Jr.; a brother-in-law, Jack Lawrence; a nephew, Geremy Lawrence.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannette Plemons of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Lee Harris of Chatsworth, Bridgett and Mark McCurdy of Chatsworth, Danelle Davis of Dalton, Kelley Plemons of Dalton; his mother, Katherine Kelley Plemons of Crandall; 11 grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret Lawrence, Wanda and Sam Evans, all of Crandall; nieces and nephewse.

Services to celebrate the life of Jim Plemons will be 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. Carson Scarbrough officiating. Interment will be in the Old Summerour Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Peeples Funeral Home and Crematory of Chatsworth is in charge of arrangements.
