Area Arrests

• Renita Sarah Blackmon, 43, 3202 Crestfield Drive, Chattanooga, Tenn., was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with three counts of theft by shoplifting.

• Heather Leigh Buttren, 33, 479 Woodrow Avenue, Atlanta, was charged Monday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

• Olivia Mechelle Craig, 29, 328 Downy St., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Shawna Dean Desmond, 28, 5148 Putnam Road, Cohutta, was charged Monday by Probation Services with felony probation violation.

• Heather Lashae Goble, 22, 2984 Underwood Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Denny Renay Griffin, 43, 1109 Foster St., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with three counts of possession of methamphetamine, sale of methamphetamine, use of communications facilities in drug transactions, possession of tools for the commission of crime and possession and use of drug-related objects.

• Grady Harris Jr., 52, 565 Greenfarry Avenue, No. 1805, Atlanta, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Jerome Wilson Walton, 25, 201 Oakstone Way, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with failure to register as a sex offender or comply with requirements.

• Brian Worley, 8133 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tenn., was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by deception.

• Derek James Miglia, 30, 204 Edgewood Ave., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.
