Chamber Golf Classic nears

Area golfers can shoot for success at the second Dalton-Whitfield Chamber Classic Golf Tournament, sponsored by Alliant Health Plans.

Scheduled for a shotgun start at 1 p.m. on Aug. 8 at The Farm Golf Club in Rocky Face, the event provides area business with productive networking opportunities in a healthy, relaxed environment.

Sponsorship of the tournament is just another reflection of Alliant’s commitment to fitness, said Al Ertel, Alliant’s chief operating officer.

Sponsorship of the event falls in line with Alliant’s launch of its “Commit to Fit” campaign, which encourages businesses across the state to help adults become more physically fit, achieve an active and healthy lifestyle and combat obesity, all in an energetic, fun-filled approach.
