Earl Thomas Ramsey

Mr. Earl Thomas Ramsey, 67, of Lithonia and formerly of Dalton, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Emory University hospital in Atlanta.  

He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Lithonia and was a U. S. Army veteran.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. James Ramsey and the Rev. Frances Ramsey; sister, Lillian Gaston; and one brother, James T. Bonds.

Survivors are his family, wife, Mrs. Valencia Ramsey of Lithonia; brother, Mr. Raymond (Lillie) Bonds of Dalton; sister, Mrs. Jimmie L. (Herman) Luckey of Chatsworth; two aunts, Mrs. Mary Betton, Mrs. Eva Lou Rivers of Dalton; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Homegoing celebration will be Saturday at 1 p. m. at the Willis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Weaver, the Rev. Jerry Burse and Pastor James T. Ward officiating.  

His remains will be at the funeral home today until the funeral hour on Saturday.  Interment with military rites will be at West Hill Cemetery.
