The Northwest Georgia Prep Power Poll ranks the top 10 football teams among the 31 GHSA schools from Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Polk, Walker and Whitfield counties. Power points and previous rank are included in parentheses, with win-loss records below each team:

1.) CALHOUN (60; 1) – 6-0, 3-0

The undefeated Yellow Jackets are licking their chops this week.

2.) RIDGELAND (54; 2) – 5-1, 2-0

The Panthers can put a stranglehold around Sub-region 7B-4A.

3.) CARTERSVILLE (48; 3) – 6-0, 3-0

Northwest Georgia’s eyes turn to the ‘Canes and Warriors’ faceoff.

4.) GORDON CEN. (42; 4) – 6-0, 3-0

A trip to Cartersville is the biggest Region 5-3A game of the season.
