Billy Ray Weeks

Mr. Billy Ray Weeks, 62, of Dayton, Tenn., departed this life Tuesday afternoon, July 8, 2014, at Erlanger Health Care in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Billy was born Jan. 1, 1952, in Flat Rock, Ala., a son of the late Granville and Eleanor Irene Long. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Sam “Jay” Weeks and William Weeks. He served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Ann Weeks of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Amanda and Michael Tuggle of Sharpsburg, and Regina McDonald of Dayton, Tenn.; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Ray Weeks Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn., Dewayne Allen and Cayla Bowers of Sharpsburg, Jarred Heath Loft and Amanda McDonald, and Jesse James Weeks of South Carolina; nieces, Kathy and Ronnie Owens of Cohutta and Jayne Gladden of Tunnel Hill; and 10 grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mr. Billy Ray Weeks will be held today at noon at the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
