Area arrests

• Whitney Shea Charles, 34, 2100 Upper River Road, Charleston, Tenn., was charged Saturday by the Cohutta Police Department with drugs not in original container, DUI — endangering a child, public drunkenness and failure to maintain lane.

• McKenzie Elise Daley, 20, 88 Old Free Hope Road, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Mark Dewayne Roach, 44, 344 Robinson Road, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with drugs not in original container, driving with a suspended or revoked license, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, a tire violation and purchase, possession or control of clonazapem.

• Joshua David Gibson, 33, 33 Lost Silver Mine Road, Cisco, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of arms by a convicted felon.

• Holly Sabrina Meyers, 29, 260 Hester Circle, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Natalie Rangel, 21, 207 Griffin St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and failure to drive within a single lane.

• Juan Manuel Valencia-Ortiz, 33, 807 Silver Wood Drive, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.
